Load Movers

Air casters from LIFTANDMOVE can help you move many kinds of loads, whether it's once an hour or once a year. They can be used on production lines, for maintenance purposes, and in moving machinery and tools.

Generally used in groups of four, air casters are attached to the airline and inserted under the load. In the right configuration, they outperform wheel-based equipment by a ratio of 10:1 or better.

Air Off Air On
The air caster is deflated and the load is at rest Air inflates the caster and creates an air film below. The load lifts on the air film and may be pushed around effortlessly, friction free.

Here are the FORMAL benefits to using air casters for moving heavy loads, including:

Flexible: Move virtually anything, anywhere, anytime
Omnidirectional: Move loads backwards, forwards, sideways, etc.
Reduced Floor Damage: Spread the weight, not concentrate it as with wheels
Minimal Maintenance: Simple and sturdy, air casters rarely go wrong
Advanced Safety & Ergonomics: Move heavy loads without strain, fatigue
Low Cost: Spend far less than with other equipment or methods

Air casters may be fitted to permanent platforms for the assembly-line movement of heavy products, as shown in the picture. You can move objects of up to 1-million pounds (450,000 kg) with the right combination of air casters.

All that's required for air casters to work well is a smooth, flat, continuous floor and a 60-110 psi air supply.
